About Lorraine Rise

From my very first job out of college, I’ve built my career on the practice of coaching others to succeed. My career began in the health and weight loss industry, coaching hundreds of clients to reach their weight loss goals. As a Director and Regional Trainer for Jenny Craig, I had the pleasure of hiring and mentoring dozens of employees in the areas of sales, customer service, and management.

In 2013, I was laid off, and would be several more times throughout my early career. I took the opportunity though to make a career change! I supported the human resources and recruiting efforts at numerous firms in the Washington DC area, including Lockheed Martin. Today, I still actively recruit within the Intelligence Community (IC) for Integrated Intel Solutions.

In 2015, I made another career change and founded Career UpRising. Now, my personal experience as a job seeker and professional experience can be put to work for you!

It’s been my honor to serve over 300 clients in over 30 industries, both public and private. Many of my clients come from some of the most recognizable firms in the country including Microsoft, Amazon, Fannie Mae, Coca-Cola, IBM and more.
